Remove anything embedded under the skin--ingrown hairs, thorns, glass, or splinters--with these long, pointed precision tips that are specially crafted for easy accuracy. The tapered tips are hand-filed to meticulous points to make removal as easy and pain-free as possible. Stainless steel is durable and easy to clean.
Clean affected area on skin with soap and water. Dip tweezer tips in alcohol to sterilize, grip the splinter or embedded item with needle points of the tweezer and back it out gently. After removal, disinfect area with hydrogen peroxide. If embedded dirt is involved, consult a doctor regarding tetanus. To remove ingrown hairs, use one tip of the tweezers to 'spring out' the hair then, grasping the hair between both tips, gently pull it out from the base. Using fingers or less hygienic tools can irritate skin or cause infection.
