What is Apothecary Rewards?
Apothecary Rewards is the loyalty program for Smallflower.com and our brick and mortar store, Merz Apothecary. Members earn exclusive rewards like discounts, free products, free shipping and more just by shopping with us.
How do I join?
If you already have an account, you’ve automatically been enrolled in our rewards program and have been added to the correct tier status. To join, just create an account and earn 25 points.
What are the perks?
Perks vary across our three tiers — Neighbor, Regular and Local Celebrity. Depending on your tier status you can access exclusive VIP sales, extra points on your birthday, free shipping on all orders and exclusive product redemption.
How do I apply my points balance?
Mobile: Available points to cash balance can be found at the checkout by using the drop-down arrow that says "Redeem Rewards Dollars”. If you have express checkout enabled, it may bypass the redemption page. Click “Back” or "Checkout as Guest" to view the checkout steps and you will find “Redeem Rewards Dollars” dropdown on the “Information” page.
Is there a cart threshold I much reach in order to use my points?
Yes, in order to use your coupons you must exceed the following cart thresholds:
- $5 coupon can be applied to cart over $20
- $10 coupon can be applied to cart over $40
- $15 coupon can be applied to cart over $60
- $20 coupon can be applied to cart over $80
Will past purchases count toward my rewards balance and VIP Tier?
Smallflower account holders began accruing rewards points starting August 16 2021. Smallflower account holders’ VIP Tiers are based on purchase history since June 1 2021.
How do I keep my tier status?
Keep your tier status by meeting the annual spending requirement for your desired tier (Neighbor = $0-$89 spend, Regular = $90-$199 spend, Local Celebrity = $200+). Our program operates on a “rolling year.” This is a dynamic 12-month period starting when a customer reaches a certain tier.
How do I refer friends?
On your Smallflower Rewards account page, scroll to the “Refer A Friend” section and you can send a link to your friend via email, SMS and other social channels. They will get a link that will bring them to a pop-up with a promo code for $10 off their first purchase of $65 or more (excluding shipping, taxes, and returns). After they complete a purchase, we will credit your account with $10 (equal to 200 points) to use on your next purchase. The 'referrer' can only share a referral code with a customer who has zero purchase history on smallflower.com.
Do points expire?
Points expire 12 months after date earned.
I just made a purchase. Why hasn't my rewards balance updated?
Rewards points are added to your account when your order is shipped.
I'd like to earn points by leaving a written, photo or video review. How does that work?
Points for reviews are awarded to verified buyers only. Reviews must be submitted through our review email requests that are sent to the email address the order was purchased with, after a purchase is made. The review must be published to the site in order for points to be awarded to your account. Apothecary Rewards does not have the ability to award points for reviews submitted outside of the review email format.
I want to send my friend a referral code. However, the site says “we were unable to send the referral link.” Why?
Referral codes can only be sent to email addresses with zero purchase order history on our site. Referral links are only valid for 1st time customers. If a code won't send, it is likely your friend has already shopped with us!
How will I know about VIP Sales and other VIP Perks and Events?
Be sure that you're signed up for our newsletter! This is the primary way we'll stay in touch about Rewards perks.
How do I earn my birthday points?
When setting up a new account on Smallflower.com, you have the ability to add your birthday. If you have a legacy account with us and want to make sure we have your birthday on file, please reach out to ourContact -Customer Service team.
I want to redeem my points and also use a discount code which I have received. Can I apply them both to the same order?
Discounts (including redeeming points for money off your order) cannot be combined.
I’m not receiving email updates about the Apothecary Rewards Program. Why?
Be sure to check your spam and promotions folders, if you're not seeing them there, send an email over to our customer support at customerservice@smallflower.com and we'll help out as best as we can!
Can I earn + redeem points when I order over the phone?
Yes! Feel free to mention our Rewards Program when on the phone with one of our Customer Service Representatives, and they can help you out.
Can I earn + redeem points when I shop at Merz Apothecary?
Yes! Customers are unable to redeem points for products in-store, but otherwise you can absolutely earn and redeem points when shopping at our brick & mortar store Merz Apothecary in Chicago.
Are the terms of this program subject to change?
Yes! While we don't plan on switching things up on you, this program is subject to change.
