Gallexier Herbal Bitters combines stimulating herbs and bitter food extracts to support digestion, including artichoke leaves, dandelion, turmeric root, gentian root, blessed thistle, and seven other time-honored herbs. Its taste is tempered by aromatic herbs and fruit sugars, making it an ideal complement to a hearty meal, or a regular after-meal digestive. Aqueous Extract From Artichoke Leaf, Dandelion Leaf, Gentian Root, Turmeric Root, Yarrow Aerial Parts, Ginger Root, Chamomile Flower, Bitter Fennel Fruit, Bitter Orange Peel, Blessed Thistle Aerial, Cardamom Fruit, Bog Bean Leaf, Water, Fructose
Adults: Take 1 measuring capful or 4 tsp. (20 mL) before meals as an appetizer or after meals to aid digestion.
Children: 2 tsp. before meals as an appetizer or after meals as an aid to digestion.
Shake bottle well before use. Refrigerate after opening. Keep the bottle tightly closed.
Warnings
Pregnant women may take this product, but caution is advised, as the following herbs are contraindicated in pregnancy: Blessed thistle (uterine tonic that can be only used the last 4 weeks of pregnancy) and Fennel (emmenagogue; affects female hormones)
Diabetics may also use this product, but they must keep track of the fructose they are consuming.* (20 mL of Gallexier = 5 g of fructose = 1/3 bread or fruit exchange = .6 BU)
Do not drink from the bottle. Only wipe the top of the bottle with a clean paper towel. This product must be used within 4 weeks of opening.
