The Henson AL13 is the perfect razor for those who are looking for a safe and irritation-free shaving experience. This razor is designed to cut hair at skin level, rather than beneath the skin, which eliminates the risk of irritation and cuts. The Henson AL13 is made from aerospace grade aluminum and is manufactured at Henson Shaving's aerospace facility in Ontario, Canada. This razor is built with the same AS9100 aerospace standards that are used in the aviation industry, so you can be confident that it is of the highest quality.
The handle is tapered from 12.25 mm [.482”] at the tail to 9.75 mm [.384”] near the head.
The overall handle length is 96 mm [3.780”].
Aluminium
Tense the skin with your fingers and place the safety razor at an angle of 30º to the skin. Place the razor handle at a 90 angle (perpendicular to the skin), then move it toward the skin until you hear hairs being cut. Now you have found the optimal shaving angle!
Always shave away from the fingers used to tighten the skin and move the blade across the skin in a slightly diagonal motion.
When using a slant bar or semi-slant bar razor, it is unnecessary to move the blade diagonally. This comfortable effect is applied by itself by this system. When shaving with this type of safety razor, we recommend applying only light pressure on the blade, barely enough to keep the razor in contact with the skin. Excessive pressure is in any case out of the question when using any type of safety razor.
