Rainbow Light was founded in 1981 in beautiful Santa Cruz, California by a team of individuals with a shared passion for providing healthy nutritional supplements grounded in the power of nature. The name ties back to the first product Rainbow Light offered—spirulina. Inspired by the full spectrum of light present in the substance and the power of nature viewed through the lens of science, Rainbow Light was born. Today, spirulina forms part of the food base in every one of Rainbow Light’s multivitamin products.
