The lightly moisturizing cream is easily absorbed by the skin. Kneipp Arnica Ointment S can be applied several times a day, even over extended periods, if needed. This herbal treatment cream is ideal for bruises, sprains, insect bites, even muscle and joint pain. Pair with Kneipp’s Arnica Muscle Relaxation Bath Crystals or Bath Oil for additional relief.
Arnica is widely known as one of nature’s most powerful plants, with benefits for anyone active, or in need of relieving tight muscles. Extracts from the Arnica Montana Flower work quickly through topical application to help soothe discomfort in muscles and joints, making it perfect for a post-workout relief, everyday recovery, and more.
Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over should apply Kneipp Arnica Ointment S to the skin several times a day with a light, stroking massage, as needed. For example, use an approximately 8 cm long strip of cream for the area of a lower leg; for larger or smaller areas, use more or less accordingly. Do not massage in cases of acute inflammation; instead, use a cream compress with a layer of cream about the thickness of a knife blade. A white film may initially form upon application, which will disappear with further rubbing. Storing Kneipp Arnica Ointment S in the refrigerator enhances its cooling effect.
100 g of cream contain: Active ingredient: Oily extract of arnica flowers (1:3.5-4.5) 10.0 g (Extraction solvent: Refined sunflower oil, contains antioxidants (tocopherols)).
Other ingredients: De-oiled phospholipids from soybeans, emulsifying cetylstearyl alcohol (Ph.Eur., type A), glycerol monooleate, glycerol 85%, purified water, cetyl alcohol (Ph.Eur.), stearic acid (Ph.Eur.), benzyl alcohol.
