Le Père Lucien is a traditional French soap factory owned and operated by mother and son duo, Gisele and Cyril Lelégard, out of an old washerwoman's house in Teillet-Argenty, a village in the Allier region in the heart of France. Cyril Lelégard, a chemical engineer and cosmetologist, got the passion for traditional shaving products from his grandfather, Lucien, and set to create a soap for his personal use. Le Père Lucien is now proud to offer a full range of traditional vegetable and glycerin-based shaving soaps enhanced with select essential oils.
